We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to provide exceptional foods to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess efficient cooking skills, a passion for food, and extensive kitchen experience. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a high level of hospitality. The Chef will play a vital role in creating fabulous dining experience to customers.
Duties
Ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food production
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
Oversee food safety procedures, including hygiene practices and proper storage of ingredients
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
Ensure all dishes are served promptly and meet customer expectations for presentation and taste
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times
Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service and fostering a positive team atmosphere
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Skilled in food preparation, culinary techniques, and menu development
Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
