Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Operating the coffee machine and making hot/cold drinks. Providing warm, friendly customer service (taking orders & handling payments). Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, cafe and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during service hours. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to customers. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 32 per week

Licence/Certification:

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
