We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a cook/baker. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, ensuring timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Provide support in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for hygiene in food handling. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Previous experience in serving or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential.
