We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a part time cook/baker. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with the ability to create diverse dishes.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
