Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring high-quality food presentation and taste.
Assist in menu planning to introduce new dishes and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions.
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices.
Serve food and beverages efficiently at the bar and dining area, maintaining excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, bar, and dining spaces, including dishwashing and equipment sanitation.
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and managing timely service.
Demonstrate strong knife skills and food preparation techniques to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
Experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering service is highly desirable.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and proper food handling practices.
Ability to perform meal preparation, cooking, and food presentation with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers professionally.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
