Overview

Do you have a passion for cooking, making great coffee and providing excellent customer service? We are looking for a conscientious, reliable and trustworthy individual to join a small team in our family run vegan coffee shop in Barrhead. Previous experience working in a kitchen and barista training is preferred. Roles include; cooking, kitchen prep, making coffee, serving customers and opening and closing the coffee shop.

Duties

Food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with restocking as necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Preferably have a passion for plant based cooking. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail to ensure quality in every beverage and dish prepared.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
