We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills to process payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly manner. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverages.
