Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a busy kitchen setting. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet customer expectations. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 12.21-18.42 per hour
