We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals as directed by the cook and to assist the cook in the provision of a varied and nutritious diet.

Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment and ideally have experience in this area.

Responsibilities:

Dependent on shift, prepare and serve meals to the Residents according to the menu's as directed by the Cook.

Ensure all cleaning schedules, monitoring and recording is carried out as required.

Have excellent commuincation skills with Residents, Staff and Visitors

Provide suffient supplies of clean crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for each meal service

To use all cleaning materials as directed, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated materials.

Assist with food preparation and serving. Ensure that all food is served in a timely manner. Ensure that all areas are kept clean and tidy. To ensure records and food hygiene guikdlines are adhered to Provide excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
