Cook/Chef

The role requires the delivery of excellent customer service, food preparation and cooking within a busy Cafe. Catering Experience and a Basic Food Safety qualification is essential. Team leader/managing experience, Till/serving experience would be an advantage.

First Aid at Work/ Welsh language also desirable but not essential.

Car owner highly desirable due to the limited frequency of public transport to our location.

The Red Kite Cafe and The Silver Mountain Experience are open 7 days a week during much of its summer season therefore you will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays. You will need to be fully available throughout the Summer holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications while ensuring food safety standards are met. Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring high-quality culinary standards. Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely meal delivery. Handle catering tasks and manage till operations as needed. Stay updated on first aid procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Pay: 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14.5 per week
