Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish development. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Handle any customer dietary requirements or special requests with care and attention.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create diverse dishes from various cuisines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy great meals. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
