We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and plating. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create diverse dishes across various cuisines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.43-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
