Duties
Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Serve dishes to customers in a professional and courteous manner when required
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
Take customer orders in person
Clean tables outside
Availability travel to events
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working in a catering environment is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
