Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced cook/chef to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, home cooked meals in a fast paced kitchen, so confidence and team work is key. We primarily operate on a 9am-4pm basis, 7 days a week, however we do host themed evenings & private functions, so occasional hours outside these times are required, to prepare bespoke buffets & three course dinners.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to our existing menus. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, including allergens. Experience working in commercial kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
