We are seeking a passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cooking and experience in meal preparation and food safety. As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating dishes that delight our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Ensure that all dishes are presented to our standard, reflecting the restaurant's standards for excellence.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook within a cafe/restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation , food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
