Job Description

We are a small independent pub company looking for additional team members to join our growing kitchen team. Position's will cover a wide variety of kitchen duties such as food preparation, cleaning, stock control and service. Candidate's must be team players & have a passion for food growth & high food safety standards, as well as having the drive to see our kitchen grow sales. We have two positions available with a variety of shifts available. Both positions will included evening & weekend working

```Duties```
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of our kitchen team
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
- Wash, peel, and chop ingredients as needed
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Help with meal preparation and plating
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

```Skills```
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques
- Culinary experience or training is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a busy kitchen setting

As our cook / chef you will play a vital role in our kitchen team by preparing delicious meals for our customers. Your attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Experience in a 'pub' kitchen is preferable

We offer 40-43 hours, over a 4 day working week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.40-13.30 per hour
