Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Assist in developing new recipes and menu items to enhance customer satisfaction Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Serve food to customers in a professional and courteous manner when required Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent skills in meal preparation, presentation, and culinary techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering service is highly desirable Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required A passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional quality dishes
