Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Assist in meal planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and seasonality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods Ensure all food is presented attractively and served promptly to guests Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients Support training of junior staff members as needed, fostering a positive team environment

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Experience with various cooking techniques across different cuisines is desirable Previous experience serving guests or working in customer-facing roles within the hospitality industry is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
