Duties

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in meal planning and menu development to ensure variety and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a professional chef within a restaurant or similar environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in meal preparation, plating, and presentation techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Previous experience in serving or assisting in front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
