We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, contributing to menu development, and maintaining food safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Oversee meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients where possible. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Previous experience serving customers is advantageous but not essential. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
