Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a flair for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu specifications. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met in accordance with regulations. Assist in the planning and development of new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Manage kitchen staff effectively, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain an organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for meal preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in managing kitchen operations and leading a team is advantageous. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate and develop new recipes.
