Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Familiarity with meal preparation processes and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight customers.
