Cook - Creative, Skilled & Passionate

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for cooking and baking, a willingness to experiment with new flavours, herbs, and techniques, and the confidence to bring fresh ideas to the menu.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Head Chef to learn our standards, flavour profiles, and expectations. Assist in developing and designing exciting, seasonal menus. Prepare high-quality dishes consistently and efficiently during service. Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and safety standards at all times. Support with ordering, stock rotation, labelling, and minimising waste. Lead the kitchen independently after training, with the support of an assistant. Ensure allergen processes are followed correctly. Contribute creatively to the development of new dishes, specials, and events.

Requirements (Must-Haves):

Food Safety Level 2

qualification (minimum). Previous experience working in a professional kitchen as a cook or chef. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling. Ability to follow recipes as well as create new dishes with confidence. Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Reliability, good timekeeping, and the ability to work under pressure. Understanding of allergen management and cross-contamination procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed. Ability to thrive in a growing business and adapt to new ideas and challenges.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-16.70 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
