We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook/Chef to join our dynamic team at Beyond Coffee Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. They will also be responsible for menu development. Beyond Coffee Co opening hours are daytime only with hours available from part time to full time. This more more than a Coffee shop, it is a welcoming community hub.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring minimal waste. Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods. Maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards throughout all kitchen operations. Serve dishes to customers when required, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques across various cuisines. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential. A genuine passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
