About the Role

Cook / Chef

to join our team

as the takeover completes

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food in a busy cafe environment. You will be responsible for cooking hot food to order, supporting menu consistency, and maintaining high kitchen and food safety standards. The role will begin

shortly after the transfer of the business

, with final start dates confirmed during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking hot food to order in line with cafe standards Supporting menu preparation and daily kitchen setup Maintaining food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards Assisting with stock control, deliveries, and kitchen organisation Working efficiently during busy service periods Supporting the wider cafe team where required Working flexibly across different shifts and days
About You

Previous experience as a cook or chef in a cafe, kitchen, or hospitality setting Confident cooking hot food to order Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices Reliable, organised, and able to work independently A positive team player with a flexible approach Flexible with working hours and days, as the cafe operates
