Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules Support the training of junior kitchen staff and ensure team collaboration Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient working environment within the kitchen

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional setting Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality environments is desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail and creativity in dish presentation

Hourly rate dependent on experience.
