Overview

We are seeking a talented Cook/ Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating exceptional dishes. As a Cook/ Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly while delivering high-quality meals that delight our members & guests alike.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into the menu.

Experience

Experience as a Cook/Chef in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. But not essential, as full training giving along side a 'can do attitude' towards work. Good knowledge of food preparation, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
