Cook/Chef
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
- Create and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
Note: Experience in catering is a plus, as the chef may be required to assist with catering events.
