We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook / Chef to join our pub team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest quality in our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Serve meals to guests, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team. Previous experience in serving or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
