Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate cook/ Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a flair for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests. As a cook/chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Create new recipes and contribute to menu development as required. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
