Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team in preparing delicious and high-quality meals in our restaurant kitchen. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. - Assist in the development of new dishes and menus. - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. - Oversee food preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces. - Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed. - Plate and present dishes in an attractive manner. - Manage kitchen operations during shifts. Skills: - Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting. - Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. - Proficient in meal preparation, including cooking, baking, and grilling. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. - Qualification in Culinary Arts or relevant field is desirable.
