Job Summary


We are seeking a cook/chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a golf club environment.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a range of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety regulations Assist in menu planning and develop new culinary ideas to enhance our offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction Follow health and safety procedures at all times to create a safe working environment

Experience



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a professional chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience with meal preparation across various cuisines is desirable Previous kitchen experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining excellent customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 9 per week

Work Location: In person
