Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to weekly menus.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and cooking utensils
- Collaborate with the staff team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation for the Residents.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent spoilage or contamination.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
