Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and quality standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service. Serve dishes with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and equipment.

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with meal preparation for large groups or events is advantageous. Experience in serving or plating dishes for presentation is a plus.
