Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to create delicious nutritious meals for residents, taking into account their individual dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences. To ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen at all times. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a high level of quality in all dishes served.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and Residents satisfaction. Experiment with new recipes and presentation styles to enhance the dining experience. understanding dietary require and allergies.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Prepare balanced, nutritious meals in line with residents' needs, including special diets and allergy requirements. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
