Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create innovative dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and best practices. Assist with serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
