Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our small but experienced team. In this role, you will be responsible for various kitchen tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our cafe. Your passion for food, service and a keen adherence to food safety standards will help us expand our current opening hours and grow our business further. We are looking for someone between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm over 3/4 days.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Participate in catering events, providing support in the kitchen and during service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Communicate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking various dishes as directed by the head chef. Serve meals with attention to detail, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential. Must have up to date food hygiene certificate, proof will be required. A strong understanding of food preparation processes and serving techniques will be beneficial.
