Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Assist in development and design of innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer expectations. Manage kitchen to ensure high levels of performance. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability without compromising quality. Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar leadership role within a kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and hospitality standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, presentation, and flavour pairing. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety. Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. A passion for culinary excellence, creativity, and continuous improvement in cooking techniques. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
