Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Serve dishes to customers, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation. Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary qualifications are an advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
