Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu specifications Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient meal preparation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment Engage with guests when necessary, providing exceptional service and addressing any dietary requirements

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant environment Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Previous kitchen experience is essential, with restaurant experience being highly desirable Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
