We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food production and preparation. As the Chef, you will play a vital role in supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes served. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train new staff on kitchen procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Strong background in restaurant operations, including food production and preparation techniques. Knowledge of culinary practices and trends within the industry. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among staff. A passion for cooking and helping others develop their culinary skills.
