We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, cooking meals to order, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and meal preparation. Support chefs with cooking tasks as required, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled and stored properly. Help with serving meals to customers or guests as needed. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies. Collaborate with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure efficient workflow during service times.

Skills

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting. Basic culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly kitchen environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities within the kitchen. Pay: 13.00 per hour
