We are seeking a skilled and passionate COOK / Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to contribute to a vibrant dining environment. The Chef will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations Assist in planning menus and developing new recipes to enhance the dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Oversee food presentation to ensure it meets quality standards before serving Train junior kitchen staff and oversee their performance during shifts Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required Passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 55 per week
