Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Duties

Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to menu specifications and recipes Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards Assist in meal planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Serve meals efficiently and courteously to guests or staff as required Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during food preparation and service

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices Demonstrable skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques Previous experience in a kitchen environment with the ability to work under pressure Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential ( 15 hours per week- Saturday, Sunday and Monday- 8 AM to 1PM)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.33 per hour
