We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Ensure all dishes are presented attractively before serving to guests.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is essential. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in the kitchen. Previous experience in serving customers is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
