We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in training junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials. Serve meals to guests when required, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of meal preparation processes and ability to work under pressure during busy service periods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
