Job Title: Chef

We are a family run business providing a breakfast/brunch/Sunday lunch menu in our Wendover location . We require someone to join the team to take over the current kitchen operation, you will work closely with the staff and the management team to make sure the daily operation of the kitchen goes smoothly and the processes of keeping the kitchen to a high standard in food safety and management.

The applicant will be shown how the current set up works and how the food needs to be presented, with further scope to improve the menu once settled in.

Day and Evening including weekend - Late shift is not required to finish later than 8:30PM

Overview:
We are seeking a committed Chef/cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals in our kitchen based in Wendover.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure food preparation meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed along with the manager
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials when required

Skills:
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen and waiting staff

experience in preparing and serving roasts is essential

. This role requires preparation time on Sunday mornings -- please ensure you are able to commit to this before applying.

Wednesday to Friday:

09:00 - 16:00

Friday Evening:

17:00 - 20:30

Saturday:

09:00 - 15:00

Saturday Evening

: 17:00 - 20:30

Sunday:

07:00 - 16:00
