Duties

Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Serve dishes to customers when required, providing excellent customer service Support training of junior kitchen staff and interns as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and hygiene practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Good communication skills to work effectively within a team Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable Ability to adapt quickly to new recipes, menus, and operational procedures A passion for creating high-quality dishes that delight guests
