Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated member of staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic food service environment, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness are maintained. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with seating arrangements Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Cook breakfasts and prepare light lunches Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly as required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Support the kitchen team with food safety practices and hygiene standards Process payments accurately using POS systems Restock supplies and organise service areas to ensure smooth operations during shifts Occasional lone working during quieter periods

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is desirable but not mandatory Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation is a plus Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
