Duties

Operate deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with meal preparation and presentation as required. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer service expectations. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of hot oil and equipment. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
